Is SEO necessary for every website?

by admin on November 21, 2010

I have a local cab business in Iowa and I’ve been told that I won’t really show up on searches unless I get an SEO company to help my site?

Yes. simple as that, that is how the search engines can "read" your site is through proper SEO. Without an "outline" or meta tags to direct the search engines, your site is, in a sense, irrelevant. Depending on your target audience and how competitve your keywords are, will depend on how long it will take for you to reach the top of the search engines and how much it will cost for your site to be optimized. Hope this helps.468x60 Is SEO necessary for every website?

Hi

i am not sure what kind of business you have. But if you own a website and want to make popular for local visitors. Than SEO can make your business website popular. SEO is a technique used to get high ranking on Search Engines by employing certain methods, like on-page and off-page techniques and seo link building. SEO is the only strategy by using this; your website can come on top in search results.

Yes it is necessary for any business that has a website and looking for relevant and potential traffic for quality leads.

No matter how great your services are
No matter how dirty or great your website looks
If you dont get quality leads then theres no conversion rate which leads to unsuccessful business.

SEO and online promotion is very important for every business that wants to sell and or acquire quality leads.

It is not necessary to hire an SEO to get you site indexed in search engines, if your website is built according to the standards and is search engine friendly and established site(s) have linked to your website then you site might have already been indexed in search engines.

search this (without quotes & replace domain.co.uk with your domain/url) "site:www.domain.co.uk" in google and see if you see any results from your site. if you see your site pages in the results then your site is indexed by google.

Shortlist the keywords that you think are relevant for your business.
If your site is indexed by search engines then get your site optimised & promoted for relevant targeted keywords.

Hope this helps

An intense blog post, I just gave this onto a fellow coworker who was doing a brief searching on this. And he believe it or not bought me breakfast due to the fact I found it for him, so gracias. :) So let me rephrase that: Thanks for the treat! But yeah, Thanks for spending the time to share about this, would love knowing more on this topic. If possible, as you gain expertise, would you mind updating your blog with more info? It is extremely helpful for me. Humungus thumb up for this post!
